      Brotherhoodfirst.com is a free classified ad posting site intended for our brothers and sisters who put their lives on the line everyday for the protection of life and property. 

     The purpose of this site is to strengthen the community of Firefighters and First Responders through positive economic experiences.  Transactions between the buyer and seller are made at their discretion: either by automated email through Brotherhoodfirst.com or any other contact method specified by the seller. 

     The idea that inspired Brotherhoodfirst.com was noticing all the "For Sale" leaflets on the bulletin boards at the different fire stations where I work in Charleston, West Virginia as a firefighter and IAFF Local 317 member.  I imagined other departments' bulletin boards in other cities were similar.  So, I thought it would be convenient to provide a single place for people to post and sell their "stuff".  I hope this site is helpful.
